Peter Paul loves to celebrate Easter. It is a time when all of our families and kids come together at the Center. This year, we held our annual Easter program on Saturday, April 4. The event included an egg hunt, egg dyeing, bonnet and hat making, face painting, basket decorating, egg on a spoon races, jelly bean bingo, and an egg drop contest. Since we always find a way to inject learning into fun, the egg drop contest was an excellent STEM activity. All of these wonderful activities would not have been possible without many exceptional partners and volunteers. We are so thankful to Junior League of Richmond; Collegiate School art students with Pam Sutherland; Vertical Church; Urban League of Greater Richmond: Young Professionals; and Remnant Church. Chanello’s Pizza at Broad & Boulevard provided a delicious lunch. Every child was given a special Easter basket stuffed with goodies, provided by St. John’s Church, First Presbyterian Church, Richmond, Va, Vertical Church and St. James the Less, Ashland Va. We hope that all of our neighbors and friends of Peter Paul enjoyed a happy Easter with family and friends, and we look forward to celebrating again next year!
