New this year, the PPDC students are going to WORK! If we want to teach our students how to be responsible, we must give them responsibilities. Each PPDC student now has a classroom job and “money” that can be earned by performing his or her job duties.

In order to be selected for their position, students had to fill out an application. For jobs that carried more responsibility, students had to request recommendation letters from PPDC staff. Jobs offered include: Attendance Monitor, Banker, Custodian, Equipment Manager, Horticultural Specialist, Homework Monitor, Librarian, and Sheriff.

We can’t wait to see how the students SHINE in their roles!
